Bed Bug Treatment (BBT)

Bed bug and dark spotting along the seam of a mattress

Finding a bug on your bed is unsettling. So is waking up with marks you can't explain. Before anyone starts moving furniture or treating a room, it helps to find out whether bed bugs are actually there. Bites alone aren't proof; other insects and skin reactions can look similar.

We inspect the places bed bugs tend to hide: mattress seams, bed frames, headboards, nearby furniture, and the small gaps around a sleeping area. What we find matters. One visible insect does not tell the whole story, and a room can show signs in places that are easy to miss when you're tired and worried. For a hotel, we also need to understand which room is affected and how neighbouring spaces are being used.

If treatment is appropriate, we'll explain the proposed scope and what you should do beforehand. That may involve preparing bedding and belongings so the relevant hiding places can be reached. Please don't move suspect items from room to room without asking first; it can make the situation harder to trace. Follow-up may be needed depending on the findings and the treatment plan.

You don't have to throw away a mattress the moment you suspect bed bugs. That can be costly, and it may leave activity elsewhere in the room untouched. Likewise, spraying something at the first insect you see can scatter the evidence before anyone has checked the seams and joints. If you can, take a clear photo or keep a specimen safely for identification and tell us what you've already used in the room.

No one wants a long, vague lecture when they have bed bugs. Tell us what you saw, where you saw it, and when it began. We'll start there and give you clear next steps.
